Since 1999, Project GRAD Los Angeles has been working to raise the college graduation rate in the northeast San Fernando Valley by helping students navigate the path from middle school through college.

Our staff are embedded in a network of middle and high schools and work with students, parents, and school staff to:

  • promote college access throughout the education pipeline,
  • prepare students for college rigor, and
  • ensure that more first-generation students graduate from college.

"Today, more than ever, education equals opportunity. In fact, college-level learning is now seen as key--to individual prosperity, to economic security, and to the enduring strength of our democracy. We all feel the power of increased college attainment. So let's make it a national priority."
