Accelerating Educational Equity

Project GRAD Los Angeles has been on the front lines of college completion since 1999, helping students and families successfully navigate the path to and through college.

OverĀ 500 Project GRAD Scholars are currently attending colleges and universities throughout California and across the nation -- with another 500 students in the pipeline at our seven high schools. With Project GRAD's support, these Scholars are graduating at a rate three times higher than their peers.

Educational inequality is bad for the economy and bad for democracy. We believe ensuring that more first generation students get the tools they need to graduate from college is something that everyone has a stake in.

"Today, more than ever, education equals opportunity.
In fact, college-level learning is now seen as key--
to individual prosperity, to economic security, and to the enduring strength of our democracy.
We all feel the power of increased college attainment.
So let's make it a national priority."
